- ラン科 【科名】ラン科 orchid family 単子葉植物。多年草。約750属2万種(15000～30000)が地球上に広く分布するが、大部分を占める着生種は熱帯地方に多い。3個の萼片と3個の花弁をもつが、うち1個の花弁は他より装飾的な唇弁となる。属間の交雑が容易で、多数の人工新属が発表されている。
