- Boophone Herb.;Boophane
- ヒガンバナ科 【属名】ボーフォネ属 oxbane 2種があり、アフリカのサハラ以南に広く分布する。大形の鱗茎をもつ多年草。
- Boophone disticha (L. f.) Herb.;Amaryllis disticha;Boophane disticha
- ヒガンバナ科 ボーフォネ・ディスティカ 鱗茎は大きく径5～18cm。高さ50cm。開花時期には葉は枯れている。花はピンク～赤色で芳香があり、散形状に50～100個つく。花期は9～3月。
- Boophone haemanthoides F. M. Leighton;Boophane haemanthoides
- ヒガンバナ科 ボーフォネ・ハエマントイデス 高さ30～40cm。鱗茎は径18cm。葉は扇形につき、開花期には枯れる。花は散形状に100個以上が上向きにつき、クリームからピンクに変化し、咲き進むにつれて香りが強くなる。花期は11～2月。
