• Baccharis L.

キク科 【属名】バッカリス属 groundsel tree; baccharis 350種があり、南北アメリカに分布する。常緑の低木・草本で、雌雄異株。塩分に耐性があり、海岸に多い。

• Baccharis halimifolia

キク科 ブッシュ・グラウンドセル bush groundsel; tree groundsel; cotton seed tree; groundsel bush; eastern baccharis 高さ4ｍになる落葉大低木。灰緑色の葉は卵形で、鋭鋸歯をもつ。仲秋に、小さな白い花が集まった大きな花序を出す。

• Baccharis patagonica

キク科 ツリー・グラウンドセル tree groundsel 南米パタゴニア産。マット状に広がる常緑低木。葉は暗緑色。春遅く、枝先に黄白色の頭花がつく。

• Baccharis pilularis

キク科 コヨーテ・ブッシュ coyote bush; coyote brush; dwarf baccharis; dwarf chaparral broom アメリカ西海岸原産の常緑低木。高さ30～60cmでマット状に広がる。潮風・湿気・乾燥・暑熱に耐える。
