ヤマモガシ科 ファイアホイール・ツリー firewheel tree; wheel of fire; Queensland firewheel tree 葉は暗緑色で光沢があり、長さ20～30cmの長楕円形。花は鮮赤色で基部が橙色。長さ5～7cmの細長い花が10～20個車輪状に咲く。
