Ailment The plant is used mainly as remedy for jaundice, liver weakness, prevent pimple, dental caries. Infusion of leaves is used in fever, cough, rheumatism, anemia and jaundice. A paste made of leaves and ginger is used externally in eczema and other skin afflictions. The roots are used in fever, and the fruits are eaten during dysentery for 1 week.
