Ailment 1. Piles. Root of the plant along with 3 slices of belly portion of boal fish, nutmeg, and black peppers are cooked and eaten on three consecutive Sundays in the morning on an empty stomach. 2. Urinary tract disorders (can be associated with diabetes). Whole plant along with leaves of Tejbal tree is fried with spices (garam masala) and taken thrice daily for 7 days.
