- Costus L.
- ショウガ科;オオホザキアヤメ科 【属名】コスツス;コスタス;フクジンソウ属;オオホザキアヤメ属 spiral ginger; spiral flag 新・旧世界の熱帯に広く分布し、約90～150種が知られる。塊茎をもつ多年草。派手な花を咲かせる種類が多い。
- Costus malortieanus
- オオホザキアヤメ科 クレープジンジャー crepe ginger; spiral ginger 葉は広楕円形で緑色の濃淡が葉脈に沿って入り、密に毛がある。花序は球状またはやや長く、花は黄白色に赤い筋が入る。
- Costus speciosus
- オオホザキアヤメ科 フクジンソウ;オオホザキアヤメ wild ginger; crepe ginger; spiral ginger; Malay ginger 根茎をもつ多年草。葉は多肉質で、茎にらせん状につく。茎頂に花序が生じ、球形～長球形で赤味を帯びた苞が上向きに突き出す。花は径7～8cmで質が薄く、白色で黄色い目がある。
