Ailment | 1. Paste of the plant along with paste of Euphorbia piluliflora applied to fractures to mend bones. 2. Juice of the rhizome to be mixed with juice of Litsea sebifera leaves for low sperm counts and physical weakness. 3. Dried rhizomes of Zingiber officinale to be mixed with rhizomes of Acorus calamus, root of Glycyrrhiza glabra and peppermint (oil from Mentha piperita) and taken for diarrhea, weakness, coughs, gastrointestinal disorders and broken voice. 4. Seeds of Mangifera indica, Sygyzium cumini and Tamarindus indica are mixed in equal proportions and taken with juice of the rhizomes of Zingiber officinale for diabetes. 5. Leaves from Ocimum sanctum, leaves from Datura metel, bulbs of Allium cepa and Allium sativum to be mixed with rhizomes of Zingiber officinale and eggs to be mixed, heated and applied thrice daily for paralysis. |
