- Ostrya carpinifolia
&カバノキ科 ホップホーンビーム hop hornbeam 落葉高木。樹皮は灰色。葉は卵形で光沢のある暗緑色、秋に黄葉する。春に黄色の尾状花序が現れ、緑がかった白色のホップに似た果房ができる。 &Ostrya virginiana &カバノキ科 アメリカアサダ American hop hornbeam; ironwood 落葉高木。樹皮は暗褐色。葉は濃緑色で、秋には黄色に変わる。春に黄色を帯びた尾状花序が出て、緑白色を帯びた果房になる。
