Invasive Alien Species 特定外来生物

Invasive alien species are those forbidden to bring into Japan. Not only live animals but also eggs, seeds, and their organs are also included. Species that look very similar and immediately indistinguishable species are called "Species requiring the certificates of their names". Without certificates for their correct names issued by a governmental (or equivalent) institution is required to import them. The following list is compiled by the Ministry of Environment.
