One hand full of root is boiled in a little water with the gall bladder of a tortoise and the decoction taken as remedy for asthma and respiratory problems. The bark is boiled in water and the water taken as remedy for fever. The leaves are squeezed in water and the water sprinkled on children as remedy for burning sensations and crying. |
