Ailment | Sexual stimulant, weakness, impotency, colds, fevers, poisonous insect bites. Roots are thoroughly dried, powdered and made into bean seed-like pills. To be taken two pills twice daily for 2 months for sexual stimulation and as remedy for impotency and weakness. One teaspoon full of juice squeezed from roots and leaves is taken once daily for colds and fevers. Juice squeezed from the roots is applied to area of poisonous insect bites. |

Ailment | Bronchitis, diabetes, urinary tract problems, frequent or infrequent urination, kidney disorders, wounds, rheumatic pain, paralysis. Leaf juice taken 1 teaspoon full at a time thrice daily acts as a remedy for urinary problems and diabetes. Leaf juice is also given as a remedy for bronchitis and kidney disorders. Paste of meristem is made into pills the size of bean seeds.
